A Few Star Wars model ideas for 3d printing

by iainhendry

In this article we look at some of our favourite Star Wars designs that you can download for free and print with your 3d printer. there are many designs for my favorite all time film but these are my top picks of the many available.

Star Wars X Wing Fighter

This is a sliced solid giving two shells. The file should print well in the vertical position with the sliced surface on the print bed.

Star Wars Logo

This design is formed by two divided pieces. You will either need to use black and yellow filament (or just use acrylic paint). You can use the “stop at height” Cura plugin to change the filament to yellow. With the original file stop at height 27 mm (with a total height of 30 mm)

You can use the split versions, just print the bottom part in black and the upper part in yellow and glue it together.
